Circus Mexicus XX

Nineteen times RCPM have traveled south of the border, set up a stage and put on a rock-n-roll party they call Circus Mexicus. And 19 times you, the fans, have not disappointed.

Now, Roger, Jim, PH and Nick are excited to host their biggest and best Circus Mexicus fiesta ever.

On June 11, 2011, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers invite everyone to go down together to Rocky Point, Mexico, sit side-by-side in the cantinas and celebrate life through rock-n-roll at CIRCUS MEXICUS XX!

This will be one of the biggest weekends ever for RCPM and something no fan will want to miss.

Tickets for Circus Mexicus XX go on sale Monday! Tickets will be $30 in advance and $35 the day of the show.

The festivities for Circus Mexicus XX will kick off Friday night at JJ's Cantina with PH Naffah's annual Hot Dog & A Smile charity BBQ. All proceeds go to benefit the children at Esperanza Para Los Niños Orphanage. You can find more information at http://www.esperanzaparalosninos.com/.

To help celebrate the 20th Circus Mexicus, RCPM are inviting back some old friends who have performed at past Circus Mexicus events.

Headlining Friday night at JJ's are the Hickman-Dalton Gang! Join Colorado's two guitar legends, Johnny Hickman (Cracker) and Jim Dalton, as they play songs from their extensive collective catalog. And they may even throw in a few covers. If you've never seen a Hickman-Dalton show, just about any and every song is fair game.

Also appearing at JJ's: Arizona's Tramps and Thieves and Random Karma. And look for additional guests to be announced in the coming weeks!

On Saturday, it's the second annual Rock and Soccer beach tournament. Details on sign-up and teams will be coming soon! Last year's inaugural tournament was a huge success. This year's games are being played on the beach at the reef.

That night, it's four hours of rock-n-roll under the stars and fireworks in the sandy lot near the Sonoran Sea and Chango's Bar. Opening for Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers Saturday night, Aaron Beavers and Shurman!

And Sunday, it's one of our oldest traditions, the Mañanathon Hangover Bash at JJ's with discounts on Bloody Mary's and plenty of Mexican Moonshine to let your cups overflow.

Things to remember:

You need a passport or passport card.

You are highly encouraged to get Mexican auto insurance if you will be driving.

If you are looking for a place to stay, try our friends as Las Palmas or the Sonoran Sea and Spa who are offering a great deal on rooms for the weekend.

Additional tips and reminders will be given in the coming weeks.

It's time again to eat fish tacos, drink cervezas, let cups overflow with Mexican Moonshine, take a short trip or a long vacation and go with the flow down to Mexico. It's Circus Mexicus XX, the biggest Circus Mexicus weekend yet!

¡Salúd!

Love & War & Mexican Moonshine & RCPM in Texas

This coming Friday night: Love, War and Mexican Moonshine in Texas!

Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers are getting ready to rock Love and War in Texas in Grapevine on Friday (4/29). The fiesta that evening will start, however, before RCPM even take the stage.

Starting at 7 p.m., a bottle of Mexican Moonshine will be opened and fans are invited to come to the show early and enjoy a free sample. Roger will be there to talk about his Moonshine and tell fans why it's surreal, sublime, manmade and divine.

The taste testing will last until either the bottle runs out or the opening band takes the stage.

Join RCPM this Friday night in Texas and come early for a free sampling of Mexican Moonshine.

¡Salúd!

Help us make a video for Heaven on a Paper Plate

Spring comes.
Our hemisphere gets its turn to face the sun again.
Life's colors rise to stain the wintry monochrome and 'tis the season to enjoy flip flops, bathing suits, hammocks, BBQs, and the clink of ice in cool drinks!
And such things are always sweetest when shared.

In that spirit, we'd like to share "Heaven on a Paper Plate."
It's the first single from our new album Unida Cantina. The album will be in-stores on April 19th.
But before the album is available, you can download "Heaven" here, gratis. If you enjoy it, share it with someone.

We also want to make a video to accompany this song. It'll be RCPM's first.
If you find you're so moved, please film anything that this song inspires and send it to us.
During the next few weeks, we'll gather what you send us and create a video. Then, together, we'll share it with the World.

Whatever it is, however you see it, wherever you find it, let's share "Heaven on a Paper Plate."

Muchas gracias,
Roger Clyne

Heaven on a Paper Plate Video

Peacemakers, as you gather your ideas and put on your directors' caps for filming your "Heaven on a Paper Plate" footage, we'd like to point out a few guidelines that will help make this project run smoothly for everyone:

*Please do not submit any more than three minutes of video.

*All video should be shot in HD when possible (any iPhone or digital camcorder should be fine).

Gracias y'all! We can't wait to see your fine work!
