Pat's Run

On the morning of April 16th, the streets of Tempe will be filled with 30,000 runners, joggers and walkers for the annual Pat's Run fundraising event to benefit the Pat Tilman Foundation.

PH Naffah, and members of the RCPM team will be participating in this year's event. And of course later that evening, PH will rock Salt River Fields in Scottsdale for the Unida Cantina album release fiesta!

We'd like to see as many fans meet up with RCPM at the starting line as we can. Whether you want to participate in the run or just cheer from the sidewalk, we're encouraging all RCPM fans to show up in sombreros and wear all the RCPM shirts, hats and other Peacemaker swag that you have!

Once the event starts, each person can run at their own pace. We will try to announce a designated meeting place before the race begins where we will be. Or sign up to follow RCPM on Twitter (azpeacemakers) and get updates on your phone the day of the race.

Sombrero Solution World Record and Contest

It's time to stand up and be counted.

On Apr. 16, giant hats and grande smiles will be abundant as RCPM celebrate both the release of their new record, Unida Cantina, and make their assault on the Guinness World Record for the most sombreros in one place at the same time!

We want you to join us for the celebration, and be a part of history as we attempt to set a new world record in an effort we're calling it the Sombrero Solution. All of the proceeds in this world record attempt go to a great cause, the Valley of the Sun United Way.

And when people see us in the Guinness Book of World Records, we want to show them that we set this record together in style! We want your sombreros to stand out. Decorate them. Put flowers in them. Put feathers in them. Bedazzle them. Glitter, ribbons, pins, whatever. Garnish them. Let them match your personality. We want to not only break the world record, but set it with our own unique Peacemakers' style.

Beginning today and running through Apr. 14, we want you to decorate the sombrero you plan on wearing to the show and then post of picture of it on our Facebook page. Three winners will be selected to receive a Unida Cantina prize package at Salt River Fields on the day of the concert.

It's the Unida Cantina record release party presented in part by Sanderson Ford Lincoln Volvo and X103.9 Phoenix, and the Sombrero Solution. This is your chance to say, "I was there" when we set the new world record for most sombreros in once place at one time, Peacemaker style!!

The Sombrero Solution

It's a symbol of the Southwest.

It's a symbol of celebration at RCPM concerts.

And on Apr. 16 Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers will use the sombrero to both raise money for a great cause, and break a world record in an effort we're calling the Sombrero Solution!

All of the net proceeds from the sombreros purchased for the event will go directly to benefit Valley of the Sun United Way.

On Apr. 16 at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale, the spring training facility of the Arizona Diamondbacks, RCPM will host a concert to celebrate the release of their long awaited new record, Unida Cantina.

During the celebration, Roger, Jim, PH and Nick hope fans will help them break the Guinness World Record for the most people wearing sombreros in one location.

“We came up with the idea of the Sombrero Solution because we wanted to do something audacious and fun that would combine community giving with celebration,” said Clyne. "Let's lend a hand to our neighbors by supporting Valley of the Sun United Way, and while doing it, set a world record!"

Here's your list of things to do: 1) buy a ticket to the show, 2) buy a sombrero or just wear your own to the show. It's that easy! And you don't even have to do it in that order.

Sombreros are currently on sale at Peacetime Goods and coming soon to local businesses around the Phoenix/Tempe area. Stay tuned for more upcoming announcements on where you can purchase them.

Sombreros will be counted AS YOU ENTER Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. So in order for your sombrero to count as part of the record, you need to wear it as you walk into the venue.

Come celebrate with RCPM, donate to a great cause and break a world record!

The Sombrero Solution, coming Apr. 16!
