RC/PH and January Jam IV!!!

Peacemakers,

Can you taste the Mexican Moonshine? Smell the ocean breeze? Hear the sound of full octane rock-n-roll? Feel the sand between your toes? See the moon rising from the bay?

Get ready for all of your senses to come alive as RCPM prepare for one long fiesta weekend!

It all begins TONIGHT at Canteen's Modern Tequila Bar, 640 S. Mill Ave., where Roger and PH will give a special 45 minute performance featuring songs from their upcoming new album.

The show starts at 7pm, but get there at 6pm to enjoy samples of Mexican Moonshine, Roger's very own 100% blue agave ultra premium reposado tequila.

Fans will also be able to pick up their January Jam IV tickets early and avoid potential long lines at JJ's Cantina on Saturday.

If you don't have your tickets to January Jam IV yet, a pair of tickets will be raffled off during the show! Tickets are also still available for sale online at www.peacetimegoods.com.

There will also be a second raffle in which a pair of tickets to Circus Mexicus XX, being held on June 11, 2011, will be given away. This year's Circus Mexicus will be an event that no fan will want to miss!

The party continues Saturday night at JJ's Cantina for January Jam IV!

Return with us to our second home, the Third World cantina on Cholla Bay that has served as inspiration for many of Roger's most beloved songs.

Come down on Friday night and hear live music from our friends at Chango's where Mexican Moonshine is now stocked and ready to be poured. You will also be able to pick up your tickets to January Jam at JJ's from 6 pm-9 pm.

Fans who have purchased tickets can pick them up beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday. The show will start about sunset, which will be right around 6 p.m.

Don't miss what has quickly become one of the most anticipated RCPM concerts of the year. This is your chance to see RCPM in an intimate and unique setting for a concert experience you'll never forget,

It's going to be an outstanding weekend. Don't miss out!

Pre January Jam performance by RC/PH

Peacemakers!

Before you head down to Rocky Point for January Jam IV on Jan. 29, get warmed up for the concert by tipping the bottle, biting the lime and catching a rare acoustic performance by Roger Clyne and PH Naffah!

The Canteen Modern Tequila Bar, on 6th and Mill, is hosting the RC/PH acoustic duo performance Thursday, Jan. 27. Join Roger and PH at 7 pm for a 45-minute acoustic set that will have you thinking about Cholla Bay, margaritas and a full RCPM show just two days later.

And if that wasn't already a great evening, a sampling table with cups of Mexican Moonshine will be set up inside the bar. Roger will stick around after he's done performing and shake hands with fans at the tequila table. And as long as Roger is in the house, Mexican Moonshine margaritas and shots of Mexican Moonshine will be half-price!

Fans who go to the acoustic show will also be able to pick up their January Jam tickets early and avoid the rush on Jan. 29.

But wait! It gets even better!

During the show, there will be a raffle for two prizes. One drawing will be for a pair of January Jam tickets, so you can see RCPM just two nights later. The second drawing will be for a pair of tickets to Circus Mexicus XX on June 11.

This year's January Jam at JJ's is going to be more exciting than ever, and it all starts Thursday night, Jan. 27, with a special RC/PH acoustic appearance.

Join us!
¡Salúd!

Happy Birthday Roger!

Todos,

Wow!
It's not yet noon and I've been flooded with birthday wishes from family, friends and, of course Peacemakers!
I don't know how many of you knew it was my birthday, but I wanted to say "gracias!
(I've never gotten so many "old man"s and "viejos"!!!! but I guess they're apropos).

Here are my big plans to celebrate another lap around the sun:
I got up before dawn and watched the sun rise from my treehouse (still under construction, just began building it day after Thanksgiving),
marveled at the brightness of Venus,
read some passages from "Vox Clamantis en Deserto" by Edward Abbey,
drank a lot of coffee,
walked the kids to school then walked my dog,
brewed more coffee,
put mariachi music on my stereo, turned it up loud,
began working on a set list for the January Jam (requests anyone?),
checked e-mail, voicemail, texts; found lots of Happy Birthday wishes,
wrote this "gracias backatcha!!"

Later I will likely:
contemplate mortality,
finish the set list, send it to the rest of the band for input/approval,
work on cover art for the new album,
have lunch on a patio in the sun somewhere close-by,
only briefly debate whether or not to enjoy a cerveza and/or margarita,
read some "Don Quixote" in the treehouse (still haven't finished it...the book or the treehouse),
contemplate mortality,
siesta,
find an open field and kick the soccer ball around for an hour or so... probably solo,
work on the treehouse,
have a nerf-gun battle with kids after school,
enforce/help with homework,
watch the sun set from the treehouse,
contemplate mortality,

...don't know after that....

....light candles, burn incense, try not to weep from gratitude in public, etc., etc., etc.

Another good day.
I hope yours is marvelous, too.
Muchas gracias and
Peace be with you all,

Roger Clyne

Long on Miles contest

¡Feliz Nuevo Año!

Happy New Year Peacemakers! RCPM are looking forward to an exciting 2011, including their annual adventure down to Cholla Bay Jan. 29 where fans can let their hearts and cups overflow under the glow of Mexican Moonshine during the January Jam at JJ's Cantina.

Tickets go on sale at Peacetime Goods Sunday! This show WILL sell out, so don't delay in ordering your tickets.

Once again, want to give away a pair of tickets to the person who traveled the most miles to see RCPM play in 2010.

Here are the rules for our Long On Miles contest: count up the most round trip miles you traveled to see RCPM in concert.

Points to remember: You need to list your cities and miles. The miles must be direct - in other words, if you traveled from Phoenix to Vegas, but took a side trip to Los Angeles on your way home, you can only count the direct miles between Phoenix and Vegas.

Also, if you followed the band for several cities on consecutive nights, count the miles from the last city you traveled from.

Your submission might look something like this:

June 12 - Phoenix to Rocky Point: 420 miles (roundtrip)
Nov 11 - Phoenix to Portland: 1335 miles
Nov 12 - Portland to Seattle: 174 miles
Nov 13 - Seattle to Spokane: 279 miles
Nov 14- Spokane back to Phoenix: 1373 miles

The distance from the Lukeville border to Rocky Point we're calling 60 miles.

Obviously those who went on both the UK tour and to Mexico once or twice last year are going to have the upper hand in this contest.

Be honest about the shows you attended. Even though we can't keep track of every person who goes to every show, we do have a good idea of who most of the regular road warriors are.

Entries are due by Thursday!!

Gracias Peacemakers. And THANK YOU to everyone who came out and saw even one show in 2010. Without you fans, RCPM couldn't continue doing what they do.
